An introspection. A departure.
The abundance of mixed emotions I went through during the early days of quarantine in March had me revisiting my past works. I needed to tame my growing fears-- the uncertainties of the future, my feelings of inferiority, chasing unrequited dreams, and the escalating chaotic conditions in my own country.
I anchored these emotions by making something out of the countless images of nature and abandoned spaces I have photographed over the years. They resonate to me deeply where I feel it has a quiet understanding of my need to escape to otherworldly places.
We are generally connected with nature and here is where I find the solitude to be at peace.
